Our workshops were born in the mountains.

Beginning in Yellowstone National Park in 2009, Darcy Cook MSPT, CMFA has designed and led workshops that are ideal for all professions.  From high stress admin positions to smoke jumping, our job specific trainings can help employees feel valued and empowered.

Our trainings are more than just information—they're a catalyst for lasting change. We break down the latest movement and wellness research into practical, digestible tools that people can apply immediately. Whether you're lifting on the job, rowing a boat, or chasing adventure on the weekends, we help you feel stronger, move better, and thrive in every part of life.

Workshop For Workers

Our full day flagship class

This full day class is packed full of pearls to help folks work hard, play hard, and live long. The biggest benefit of this class is that throughout the day we provide individual assessments to help participants understand and address their unique movement and mobility faults that lead to recurrent flare ups. We offer real time coaching and feedback making this class dynamic and pertinent to each participant.  This workshop is always well received and more often than not, is a powerful catalyst for change.

Best fit for:  Everyone!

Workshop For Workers Intro

1/2 Day Intro Course

Created to meet the scheduling demands of organizing larger groups, this class is a 1/2 Day workshop that touches on lifting, carrying and pressing heavy things.  It's quickly becoming known as the "gateway training" and we consistently hear that it is accessible, informative, and leaving participants wanting more!

Best fit for:  Anyone, because we all lift and carry! Particularly great for manual laborers.  Pairs well with the other intro classes but may be redundant alongside a full day WFW class in the same year.

Workshop For Workspace Warriors

For the desk jockeys that make it all happen.

This 1/2 day class is designed to address the fallout from long hours confined to a workspace.  We cover a range of topics including tension headaches, spine pain, workspace set up, stress management and numbness due to nerve tension.  This class will ebb and flow based on the group's preferences and is consistently a participant favorite!

Best fit for:  Folks that spend 50% or more of their day in sustained, sedentary positions. This class also pairs well with any of our other trainings.

The Move Better Series

Perform better. Feel better.

The Move Better Series is a ½ day class. The class integrates the most current data on effective and efficient strength and conditioning to work hard, play hard, and live long.  We will meet in the gym setting and improve confidence and form with the basic lifts.   Offering live and virtual coaching throughout the series, we pair quality movement with strength and conditioning.

Best fit for:  People already working out or ones ready to start!  Crews that have allocated workout time (law enforcement, fire) will benefit from form coaching and understanding workout structure to make their workout time effective.  We often see prior year workshop participants request this class when they are ready to take the next step.

Programming Add Ons

Strong people are harder to kill.

Our programming (workouts) were created to guide newbies safely through sequential months of the Move Better Series and then graduate into our Live Better Programming which is designed to be fit for life!  Be prepared to improve your capacity and durability and become a fitter, harder-to-kill human! Programming (or workouts) is delivered through an interactive app and was developed and tested by physical therapists that understand exercise physiology and what it takes to work hard and play hard.  PT developed, PT tested, and PT approved.  Check out this video for an explanation of overall fitness and what we are going to accomplish!

Best fit for:  anyone interested in a super efficient and effective workout routine.
