Darcy grew up in the “Granite State” of New Hampshire and moved to Missoula, Montana, in 1992 for college. After earning her Master’s in Physical Therapy, she began practicing outpatient orthopedics in 2002. A decade later, she founded Granite Sports Medicine with the goal of creating a progressive, efficient healing environment—one that also offered her colleagues a great place to work.

An avid skier herself, Darcy served as a physical therapist for the U.S. Snowboarding Team from 2006–2016, traveling the globe—from China to New Zealand—supporting world-class athletes.

In 2009, after hearing from her trail crew friends in Yellowstone National Park about rising on-the-job injuries, Darcy began developing workshops focused on injury prevention and strength for outdoor workers. Those workshops, born in Yellowstone, have since evolved into her primary passion—helping people move well, work strong, and live fully.

When she’s not teaching or treating, Darcy loves getting off the grid—floating wilderness rivers, exploring deep into the Absaroka-Beartooth Wilderness, or skiing powder at Bridger Bowl.
